Step 3: Graphs and Charts

Each week, pick one article from the Wall Street Journal, NYTimes, or Economist that features at least one graph or chart. Write a few sentences, summarizing the information presented in the chart. Try to think of ways in which it verifies or contradicts the information in the article. Finally, think of an additional graph or chart that you would like to see to tell you more about the validity of ideas presented in the article.
The New Redesigned SAT will feature charts and graphs in BOTH the SAT Reading Test and SAT Math Test, so we want you to get a head start on understanding graphs and charts both quantitatively and qualitatively.
