Extra Time on the ACT-ACT Test Taking Tips

Have you been granted extra time on the ACT?
Here is how the extra time allotment works on the ACT
Students with ‘time and a half’ have about 4 and a half hours to complete the four main sections of the ACT Test: English, Reading, Math, and Science
Students have to budget this time on their own. We recommend that students with extra time (1.5X) spend the following on each section:

English-67 minutes
Math-90 minutes
Reading-52.5 minutes
Science-52.5 minutes

Regular Time on the ACT
How much time do you have per section on the ACT
English-45 minutes
Math-60 minutes
Reading-35 minutes
Science-35 minutes
