Every year, I have the opportunity to work with adult students who are going back to school for a Master’s Program or MBA.
Taking the GRE or GMAT as an adult can be a daunting task, especially for those who have been out of school for 5+ years.
Follow these 5 Tips to Jump Start Studying
1. Start with the easier section-To get back in the swing of studying, do not begin math and verbal together. Pick which field you are traditionally stronger in and start there.
2. Books Books Books. The best books are always those produced by the test makers themselves.

3. Seek Support-Tell your friends and family your plan to take the test so they will hold you accountable with studying.
4. SET A DATE-Go ahead and register for the test. Even if you register for a test date 6-9 months away, this will make sure that you do not procrastinate your studying.
