At Tutoring Solutions Group, we offer tutoring for the ACT test that is individualized to the needs of each student. Before beginning intensive tutoring, we pinpoint the areas where support is needed and address those areas. We have staff that specializes in each section of the ACT, giving each student the best chance at improving their scores. Tutoring is available through group classes or private lessons. The group class is a good way to lay the groundwork for the necessary knowledge and the private lessons expand on that groundwork to actualize the potential of each student. The group classes are two weeks long and are offered in the Summer as well as the Fall. Private tutoring sessions are offered all year long with flexible scheduling hours.

The ACT is a knowledge based test that utilizes test taking skills that are not as prevalent in a high school classroom. We teach our students the knowledge that they need to answer the questions as well as time management, test taking tricks, and what the ACT is looking for. One of the most difficult aspect of the ACT for most students is the short time that they are given to answer many questions. With the help of practice and our test taking tricks, students find the timing less of a burden.

The ACT is a difficult topic when it comes to most students, it represents this big test that puts a number on their academic ability. We believe that the ACT should not be a scary experience. It is one small aspect of their resume that helps show  academic ability. Every student can improve their score from the first time they take a practice test to the last grade they submit to colleges.
